Mountain View Music Studio
Private Piano and Music Theory Lessons
About Me
My name is Stephanie Orr
Mountain View Music Studio is where I live, work, and play. I have been playing the piano for over 30 years and teaching for more than 20.
My focus is on developing a well-rounded pianist, with fluid technic, capable notation reading, strong rhythm, and impressive musicality. It is my goal for students to be confidant, independent learners, whom, through coaching, become beautiful piano players with the skills to play for a lifetime, and who continue to grow their love for the piano, always.
I am passionate about duet literature and the added challenge duets and trios bring to the table. Many of my students have come to enjoy duet as a part of their regular repertoire. It is a great way to make piano playing less solitary, and connects families, and students within the studio.

About
The Studio
Mountain View Music Studio is located in my home, only minutes from Calgary and Airdrie. Remote teaching is not currently offered at this time. The studio has all of my tools, resources, and utilizes a beautiful Bechstein upright, as well as a Yamaha grand piano. These are instruments that students should be playing on regularly to supplement their home practice.
